It is often believed that homosexuality is a byproduct of society rather than being natural. I will often hear or read,
"If they don't 'pro-create' then where do they come from? It's obvious the the mission of the gay agenda to recruit more and more of them!"
Here are just three examples of why that position is wrong.
Passing on the genes directly:
It is often denied that homosexuality is genetic, on the basis that homosexuals don't reproduce. Fact of the matter is, they do.
- There are many instances where homosexual men and women marry the opposite sex. In those relationships, there is always the possibility that they will have children and those children will be passed down 23 chromosomes from each parent.
- Some men and women are bisexual. Bisexuals marry the opposite sex and have children all the time. When they reproduce, the 23 chromosomes they pass down may contain the necessary genes to make their offspring either bisexual or homosexual.
- Homosexual men sometimes play the role of sperm donor and homosexual women sometimes play the role of surrogate which will also pass on their genes.
Passing on the genes indirectly:
Kin altruism is a social paradigm wherein one commits selfless acts for individuals closely related to them, ultimately leading to benefits for that person.
As it pertains of homosexual propagation, although they may not reproduce themselves, homosexual members of a family will look after their kin which aids in the survival of that kin. The kin will be more likely to live longer, giving them more chances to reproduce and pass on their genes. One's genes are most similar to the genes of their immediate family. Essentially, homosexuals who protect their family will be protecting their own genes.
Fraternal birth order:
Sometimes, when a women is pregnant, her body will "perceive" a male fetus as a foreign object. When this occurs, the female body will produce antibodies and antigens to "feminize" the fetus. The more male children a woman has, the better the antibodies and antigens with get at feminizing the fetus and, therefore, the likely-hood that the woman will give birth to a homosexual boy will increase.

Conclusion:
Fact of the matter is, homosexuality is a biological compulsion, not a choice. homosexuals come about in much the same way heterosexuals do.
